A modern educational redesign for a school, created to improve clarity, strengthen institutional credibility, and position the school through a more elevated and contemporary digital identity.
Scope of Work
Problem.
Colegio Cervantes required a digital presence that better reflected its academic reputation and long-term vision.
The existing perception felt traditional and lacked the refinement needed to position the institution as a forward-thinking educational community with international aspirations.
The challenge was to modernize the brand experience while preserving warmth, credibility, and the human side of education.

What I Did.
I worked on the visual repositioning of the institution through a website redesign aligned with a refined brand direction.
My role included:
Website UI design
Visual identity refinement for digital application
Layout hierarchy and content organization
Typography and spacing system
Structure for clearer navigation and readability
Responsive visual adaptation
Development of a more elevated and globally aligned visual language
The goal was to create a digital experience that felt modern, professional, and academically aspirational.

Typography that Communicates Character.
The process began by understanding how the institution wanted to evolve and be perceived beyond its local presence.
I explored ways to balance tradition and modernity — ensuring the redesign felt more elevated without losing familiarity or trust.
Special attention was given to content hierarchy, clarity, and visual rhythm to improve how information is consumed across the website.
The design process focused on creating an interface that could communicate academic excellence while remaining approachable for students and families.

Impact / Outcome.
The redesign strengthened the school’s positioning by creating a more refined and internationally oriented digital presence.
The final experience improved clarity, elevated brand perception, and created stronger visual consistency across the institution’s communication.
The website now feels more aligned with modern educational standards while preserving the warmth and identity that define the school.
The project also established a stronger foundation for future digital growth and communication.

Visual Direction.
The visual direction was built around clarity, structure, and academic sophistication.
A restrained color palette, balanced typography, and generous spacing helped create a more premium and organized experience.
Editorial-inspired layouts were introduced to elevate perception while improving readability and hierarchy.
The overall design aimed to position Colegio Cervantes as a modern educational institution that feels credible, human, and internationally minded.
